underwhelming experience
the staff was friendly enough, i guess.
The shower was awful. The pressure was so weak, i could barely rinse off the soap. it made a simple task a real chore. i was really frustrated by this

poor pressure fruit absence
Staff provided a lovely welcome upon my arrival.
I expect better water pressure in the shower. It was very poor and made rinsing difficult. I also think more breakfast options beyond a full English breakfast are necessary. Perhaps some fruit should be available.

friendly staff delicious food large bedroom poor pressure fruit option twin bedded room
the staff was REALLY friendly. they addressed all my needs. the food tasted delicious, it offered excellent value. the bedroom was large.
the shower pressure was poor. there was no continental breakfast option available, I wanted fruit or yoghurt. the twin bedded room felt claustrophobic.

lovely stay in the countryside
warm welcome delicious food village setting excellent breakfast
the car park was large. i received a warm welcome when i arrived. home cooked food was really delicious. the village setting seemed quant, and beautiful too. it was perfect for my stay. the evening meal was good and breakfast was really excellent.

fruit absence poor shower
I was happy with the friendly staff (everyone was really trying), but the breakfast was a letdown. i expected more options other than just a full english breakfast. there was no fruit available either. the shower had very poor pressure. It was difficult to wash thoroughly, and that was a real inconvenience. the room size made it a little hard to move around.

fantastic village stay
airy room comfy beds clean towels
the room was light and airy. i loved the spacious feel, a very pleasant surprise. the beds were very comfy, and i appreciated having two chairs, so we could both relax (a real treat!). the bathroom was super, especially the shower and the clean white towels.

The evening meal was scrumptious. i chose the lamb chops, and they were superb. I will remember them for a long time. breakfast did not disappoint. There was plenty of it, all freshly cooked to order, with a great pot of tea.

the staff were very lovely, very friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. i found it a nice touch that they took us to our room upon arrival. a table was reserved for us when we walked in for our evening meal, and a fire was lit.

the location is lovely yet convenient, perfect for exploring the area. there was plenty of free parking available. the village setting is quant and beautiful (i enjoyed exploring the surroundings).
